One of the most important things to consider when starting a new project is to stay focused on your goal.

It can happen to many of us that after spending some time on our personal projects with great enthusiasm; naturally expecting the results we have envisioned having when we started; encounter some difficulties, new problems and challenges that arise  from this new undertaking. That at a certain moment they make us feel overwhelmed or that it is a difficult task to overcome. We think that perhaps it is too much what we want to achieve or that it may become too complicated a task for the resources we have.

Then we begin to put it aside, we postpone it every time, or we invent a series of excuses to downplay it and let this initiative that we had gradually fade away. And without being very aware of it, it may be that we have missed a great opportunity for learning and growth , not to say a great possibility that means an important change in our lives.

Perhaps one of the reasons that costs us the most work when starting something new and different is to remain constant, focused and firm despite the obstacles and difficulties that arise as we move towards our goals. Above all, if we don't get the results we expected after a certain time.

How to Stay Focused

Not always all our undertakings will take us where we imagined when we started. Even some will not turn out as expected. There is that possibility too. Nothing is guaranteed.

But if we have dedicated our passion to it; because we find so much satisfaction and pleasure in doing it then we will find time to develop it . Because we like it so much that we don't consider it a job and we could devote all our attention to it. Then we found something very valuable to focus on.

We never know for sure where exactly a new project or idea will take us if we follow it. Maybe it's something completely new ; It may be that what we started and did not work out served us and gave us the impetus for something different and better. We must be willing to see other possibilities that arise along the way; be open to new ideas, adapt and be flexible too.

It may not be what we originally planned, but it is the way for our business to survive and develop. Sometimes we don't know where everything we started will lead us, but it may help us a lot in the next idea or project; and only later are we able to see that everything is taking shape and makes sense like a puzzle.

Two years ago I started with a project that required me to handle an image editing program. I didn't know anything about this program; but my desire to continue made me learn it on my own; slowly. As if starting from scratch or like a child who begins to walk; standing firm and persistent; Only by using the Help resources of this Program I learned it and managed to handle it in a few months.

Finally the project that had started with this program did not work out; but everything I learned and grew in this process was very valuable and useful later when I started writing on this website . One of the tools that I use a lot in image editing is this program; without it it would be very difficult to edit, create and modify the images I use. It is a great tool that I could only assess later and that fits perfectly into this new project.

Persevering, being constant and firm despite obstacles should be our most powerful strategy . Every time we feel defeated or discouraged we must be able to find inspiration and necessary strength in the vision we had when we started this project . Achieving it should be a constant source of motivation to achieve it. I can't guarantee what will happen with each new project; but I can assure you that we will learn and grow a lot in this process. And that this will be invaluable in what we do next.
